My name is Andrew Larson. I am an animator living in Covington, Louisiana with my beautiful wife and family. I have been doing animation since 1999 and I can't imagine doing anything else. I love creating, making things come to life, and telling stories. Thank you for visiting my site. Please check out my work, and contact me if you are interested in my services.

The initial brief was only asking for the addition of some basic 3D depth to the images provided. I had seen a technique for doing projection mapping of an image onto a 3D model that was molded to fit the image and I wanted to try and recreate the effect. The majority of the images are animated using the traditional way of cutting out layers and moving them back in 3D space, but for a few I used the 3D projected image on 3D models. I think the effect really added life to the images and the client was blown away with the extra bit of animation.
